rākṣaso yuddhaharaṇāt paiśācaḥ kanyakācchalāt //
The Asura is inferior, by means of a bride-price; the Gāndharva is by mutual choice; / the Rākṣasa is by taking by battle; the Paiśāca is through deceit of the maiden.
