tathā gomithunādānādvivāhastvārṣa ucyate /
prārthitā dīyate yasya prājāpatyaḥ sa dharmakṛt //

So too, by the receipt of a pair of cattle, a marriage is said to be Ārṣa. / The Prājāpatya rite, which produces merit, is that where she is given when requested.
