recanādrecakaḥ prokto mātrābhedena ca tridhā /
dvādaśāttu caturviṃśaḥ ṣaṭtriṃśanmātriko 'paraḥ //
it is called an exhalation from expelling [the air]; and it is threefold by difference of duration: / one of twelve [measures], another of twenty-four, and another consisting of thirty-six measures.
