pūrvaṃ striyaḥ surair bhuktāḥ somagandharvavahnibhiḥ /
bhuñjate mānuṣāḥ paścānnaitā duṣyanti kenacit //
Formerly women were enjoyed by the gods: by Soma, the Gandharvas, and Agni; / men enjoy them afterwards; they are not defiled by anything.
