caṇḍālāntyastriyo gatvā bhuktvā ca pratigṛhya ca /
patatyajñānato vipro jñānāt sāmyantu gacchati //
Having had sexual intercourse with Caṇḍāla or outcaste women, having eaten their food, or accepted [gifts from them], / a Brahmin falls through ignorance; through intentional action, he becomes equal to them.
