brātyānāṃ yājanaṃ kṛtvā pareṣāmantyakarma ca /
abhicāramahīnānāntribhiḥ kṛcchair vyapohati(2) //
Having officiated at sacrifices for the uninitiated (vrātyas), performed funeral rites for unrelated persons, / and [practiced] sorcery on unimpaired persons, one removes [the sin] by three kṛcchra penances.
