tryahaṃ prātastryahaṃ sāyaṃ tryahamadyādayācitaṃ /
tryahamparañca nāśnīyāt prājāpatyañcaran dvijaḥ //
For three days in the morning, for three days in the evening, for three days eating unasked-for food, / and for another three days one should not eat: [thus] a twice-born performs the prājāpatya.
