tathordhvasrotasāṃ ṣaṣṭho devasargastu sa smṛtaḥ /
tatorvāksrotasāṃ sargaḥ saptamaḥ sa tu mānuṣaḥ //
Likewise, the sixth, that of beings with an upward flow of life, is known as the creation of the gods; / then the seventh creation, of beings with a downward flow of life, is that of humans.
