ṣaḍaśītimukhāḥ proktāḥ ṣaḍaśītiguṇāḥ phalaiḥ /
atītānāgate puṇye dve udagdakṣiṇāyane //
these are declared the entrances of the eighty-six [days], having fruits eighty-six-fold. / The two solstices, the northern and southern, are holy as they approach and pass.
