triṃśat karkaṭake nāḍyo makare viṃśatiḥ smṛtāḥ /
vartamāne tulāmeṣe nāḍyāstubhayato daśa //
Thirty nāḍīs in Cancer and twenty in Capricorn are traditionally remembered; / when [the sun] is in Libra and Aries, there are ten nāḍīs on both sides [of the transit].
