ahaṃ brahma paraṃ jyotirdhyayemahi vimuktaye /
taj jyotirbhagavān viṣṇurjagajjanmādikāraṇaṃ //
'I am Brahman, the supreme light'—we should meditate for final liberation.
That light is the Blessed Lord Viṣṇu, the cause of the creation and other states of the universe.
