saumyāgrā prathamā tasyāṃ rekhe pūrvamukhe tayoḥ /
madhye tisras tathā kuryāddakṣiṇādikrameṇa tu //
The first of these points north; [there are] two lines facing east. / Between them, one should likewise make three, in sequence beginning with the south.
