rājñādhamarṇiko dāpyaḥ sādhitāddaśakaṃ smṛtam /
pañcakantu śataṃ dāpyaḥ prāptārtho hy uttamarṇakaḥ //
The debtor must be made by the king to pay a tenth part of what has been recovered; / and a creditor who has received his money must be made to pay five percent.
