śaktasthānīhamānasya kiñciddatvā pṛthak kriyā /
nyūnādhikavibhaktānāṃ dharmyaś ca pitṛnā kṛtaḥ //
For an able [son] who does not desire [a share], separation is made by giving something small; / and a partition made by the father, whether [shares be] less or more, is lawful.
