ṛcaṃ mahīti japtvā yadi hy etat sarvakāmānavāpnuyāt /
dvācatvāriṃśatiṃ caindraṃ japtvā nāśayate ripūn //
If one recites the verse "The great [earth]" (mahī...), he attains all desires. / And having recited the forty-two verses addressed to Indra, he destroys his enemies.
