hṛdayaṃ pāṇinā spṛṣṭvā vyādhibhir nābhibhūyate /
uttamedamiti snāto huttvā śatruṃ pramāpayet //
and touching his heart with his hand, he is not overcome by diseases. / Having bathed and made fire oblations with "This supreme [word]" (uttamedam...), he destroys an enemy.
