viṣṇuḥ prācyāṃ sthitaś cakrī harirdakṣinaṇato gadī /
pratīcyāṃ śārṅgadhṛgviṣṇurjiṣṇuḥ khaḍgī mamottare //
May Viṣṇu, bearing the discus, stand in the east; Hari, bearing the mace, on the south; / may Viṣṇu, bearing the Śārṅga bow, stand in the west; and the victorious [Lord], bearing the sword, on my north.
