mṛkkaṇyāñca lalāṭe ca karṇamūle nigālake /
bāhumūle gale śreṣṭhā āvartāstvaśubhāḥ pare //
Whorls at the corners of the mouth, on the forehead, at the base of the ears, at the throat, / at the base of the shoulders, and on the neck are excellent; other whorls are inauspicious.
