pāvanaṃ sarvabhūtānāṃ kṣaranti ca vadanti ca /
haviṣā mantrapūtena tarpayantyamarāndivi //
They yield and are spoken of as the purifier of all beings; / with oblation purified by mantra, they satisfy the immortals in heaven.
