tato 'dhivāsitaṃ śiṣyaṃ pāyayedgavyapañcakam /
ācāntaṃ prokṣye netrāntair netre netreṇa bandhayet //
Then one should have the pupil, who has undergone preliminary consecration, drink the five products of the cow. / Having rinsed his mouth and sprinkled him [with water] with the eye [mantras], one should blindfold his eyes with the eye [mantra].
