karṇikā keśaraṃ patraṃ mantrādyaṃ(2) maṇḍalāntakaṃ /
maṇḍalāṅgulamātraikacakrābjādyau(3) pavitrakaṃ //
From the pericarp, filaments, petals, beginning with mantras, up to the end of the maṇḍala; / the sacred thread for the discus, lotus, and others is merely the finger-breadths of the maṇḍala.
