śāstre śabdapradhānatvamitihāseṣu niṣṭhatā //
Where the triad of the statements of technical treatises, legendary histories, and [poetry] is completed:
in a technical treatise, primacy belongs to the word; in legendary histories, adherence [to the meaning].
