agnir uvāca
sampātāhutināsicya(2) pavitrāṇyadhivāsayet /
nṛsiṃhamantrajaptāni guptānyastreṇa tāni tu //
Agni said: / Having sprinkled [them] with oblation-drops, he should perform the preliminary consecration of the sacred cords / over which the Nṛsiṃha mantra has been recited and which are protected with the weapon mantra.
