vastrasaṃveṣṭitānyeva pātrasthānyabhimantrayet /
vilvādyadbhiḥ prokṣitāni mantreṇa caikadhā dvidhā(4) //
He should consecrate them with mantras while they are wrapped in cloth and kept in a vessel, / sprinkled with water containing bilva and other leaves, singly or doubly with the mantra.
