brāhmaṇa uvāca
bhūyaḥ pṛcchasi kiṃ śreyaḥ paramārthanna pṛcchasi /
śreyāṃsyaparamārthāni aśeṣāṇyeva bhūpate //
The brāhmaṇa said:
"Why do you ask again about the good? Why do you not ask about the ultimate reality? / All goods other than the ultimate reality are entirely provisional, O lord of the earth.
