ṛturvarṣasahasrānte punastannagaraṃ yayau /
nidāghaṃ nagaraprānte ekānte sthitamabravīt /
ekānte sthīyate kasmānnidāghaṃ ṛturabravīt //
At the end of a thousand years, Ṛtu went again to that city. / He spoke to Nidāgha, who was standing in a solitary place at the edge of the city: / 'Why are you staying in a solitary place?' Ṛtu asked Nidāgha.
