nidāgha uvāca
bho vipra janasaṃvādo mahāneṣa nareśvara /
pravivīkṣya puraṃ ramyaṃ tenātra sthīyate mayā //
Nidāgha said:
'O brāhmaṇa, there is a great crowd of people [as] the king / wishes to enter this lovely city; therefore I am standing here.'
