rakṣomātṛgaṇebhyaś ca piśācādibhya eva ca /
pitṛbhyaḥ kṣetrapālebhyo balīn dadyāt prakāmataḥ //
And to the hosts of rākṣasas and mātṛs, and to the piśācas and others, / to the pitṛs, and to the guardians of the field (kṣetrapālas), one should lavishly give bali offerings.
