varuṇādeś ca tadvarṇāḥ keśarāgreṣu vinyaset /
tejaś caṇḍo mahāvakro(2) dvibhujaḥ padmakhadgabhṛt(3) //
One should deposit them on the tips of the filaments according to their colors from Varuṇa onwards. / Tejas, Caṇḍa, and Mahāvakro are two-armed, holding a lotus and a sword.
