caturniveśanāt kaṇṭho viṃśatistriyugais tathā(3) /
pārśvābhyāṃ tu viluptābhyāṃ calaliṅgaṃ bhavedvaraṃ(4) //
From setting four parts, the neck is formed, and likewise twenty by six parts; / with both flanks pared away, an excellent movable liṅga is produced.
