tasmin hiraṇmayañcāṇḍaṃ so 'sṛjat pañcabhūtavat /
tasmin saṅkrāmite jīve(4) śaktirātmopasaṃhṛtā //
In that [water], he created the golden egg endowed with the five elements.
When the individual soul was introduced into it, the power [of the Lord] was withdrawn into himself.
