jalāśaye madhyagataṃ suguptaṃ viniveśayet /
snātvā dhyāyecca varuṇaṃ sṛṣṭiṃ brahmāṇḍasañjñikāṃ //
He should deposit [it] well concealed, reaching the center of the water reservoir;
having bathed, he should meditate upon Varuṇa and creation named the cosmic egg.
