yāmye śālaikaśālaṃ tu pratyakśālamathāpi vā /
ekaśāladvayaṃ śastaṃ śeṣāstvanye bhayāvahāḥ //
A single-winged [house] with a wing in the south, or with a wing in the west—
these two single-winged types are commendable, while the others are dangerous.
