triśālaṃ vā dviśālaṃ vā ekaśālamathāpi vā /
vyayādhikaṃ na kurvīta vyayadoṣakaraṃ hi tat //
or a three-winged, or a two-winged, or even a single-winged [building];
he should not make the expenditure greater [than the income], for that causes the defect of loss.
