āyādhike bhavet pīḍā tasmāt kuryāt samaṃ dvayaṃ /
kararāśiṃ samastantu kuryādvasuguṇaṃ guruḥ //
If income is excessive, there will be affliction; therefore he should make the two equal;
the guru should multiply the entire sum of cubits by eight.
