snātvā cottīrya tattīrthaṃ saṃhāriṇyopasaṃharet /
athāto vidhiśuddhena saṃhitāmantritena ca //
Having bathed and emerged from the water, he should withdraw that sacred ford using the Saṃhāriṇī [mudrā].
