devāgryātmavibhedena darṣyā taṃ vibhajet tridhā /
datvā bhāgau śivāgnibhyāṃ saṃrakṣedbhāgamātmani //
he should divide it threefold with a ladle into portions for the deity, the fire, and oneself. / Having given two shares to Śiva and the fire, he should reserve a share for himself.
