śareṇa carmaṇā deyaṃ pūrvato dantadhāvanaṃ /
tasmādghoraśikhābhyāṃ vā dakṣiṇe paścime mṛdaṃ //

A tooth-cleansing stick should be given in the east with the Astra and Kavaca mantras; / clay in the south or west with the Aghora and Śikhā mantras;
