dīkṣāsthāpanayoḥ kumbhe sthaṇḍile maṇḍale 'thavā /
maṇḍalebhyarcya deveśaṃ vrajedvai kuṇḍasannidhau //
In the case of initiation and installation, in a water-jar, on a mound of earth, or in a maṇḍala, / having worshipped the Lord of Gods in the maṇḍala, one should proceed to the vicinity of the fire-pit.
