"Huṃ, to Vāc; huṃ, and to Rāgiṇī; kraiṃ, to Jvālinī." Then, "Reverence: oṃ hrauṃ, and reverence to Śamā; hruṃ, then reverence to Jyeṣṭhā. Oṃ hrauṃ rauṃ krauṃ, to the nine Śaktis; gauṃ, and to the seat of Gaurī; gauṃ, reverence to the icon of Gaurī." Now the root mantra of Gaurī is stated: "Oṃ hrīṃ saḥ, O Mahāgaurī, beloved of Rudra, svāhā; reverence to Gaurī. Gāṃ hrūṃ hrīṃ, let Śiva be gūṃ, to Śivā, to the armor; goṃ, to the eye; goṃ, to the weapon; oṃ gauṃ, to Vijñānaśakti; oṃ gūṃ, reverence to Kriyāśakti." In the east and other [quarters], the regents led by Śakra: "Oṃ suṃ, reverence to Subhagā"; then, the seed-syllable hrīṃ with Lalitā; "Oṃ hrīṃ, and reverence to Kāminī; oṃ hrūṃ, Kāmaśālinī." Having consecrated Gaurī with these mantras, having worshipped, and then having recited, one enjoys all.
