hatvā svarikthaspṛdha ātatāyino yudhiṣṭhiro dharmabhṛtāṃ variṣṭhaḥ /
sahānujaiḥ pratyavaruddhabhojanaḥ kathaṃ pravṛttaḥ kim akāraṣīt tataḥ //
1. Saunaka said:—When Yudhishtira, the foremost among the defenders of righteousness, after vanquishing the ruffians that had aspired to and fought for (usurped) his own property, was forced to enjoy worldly blessings along with his brothers,—what was the course of his life, or what did he do then?
