/0 sūta uvāca
vaṃśaṃ kurorvaṃśadavāgninirhṛtaṃ saṃrohayitvā bhavabhāvano hariḥ /
niveśayitvā nijarājya īśvaro yudhiṣṭhiraṃ prītamanā babhūva ha //

2. Suta said:—Sri Hari, the Lord (of all) who maintains the world, revived the race of Kuru that had been consumed by the forest fire born of Vamsa (bamboo called the race), and was rejoiced at having established Yudhishtira in his own kingdom (on his throne).
