dharmaḥ svanuṣṭhitaḥ puṃsāṃ viṣvaksenakathāsu yaḥ /
notpādayedyadi ratiṃ śrama eva hi kevalam //
8. Any Dharma that, (though) properly practised, does not lead men to find delight in the stories of Vishvaksena (Hari), is but (fruitless) labour.
