bibharṣi rūpāṇy avabodha ātmā kṣemāya lokasya carācarasya /
sattvopapannāni sukhāvahāni satām abhadrāṇi muhuḥ khalānām //

*Final resort etc.* D. Its support and resort, the one protector, etc. 29. "Constituted of nothing but Intelligence, Thou Thyself assumest forms for the welfare of the mobile and immobile world. Those forms consist purely of Satva, bring happiness to the righteous and often inflict punishment on the wicked.
