bahir-antaḥ-pura-dvāraḥ sarvāḥ pūrvavad āvṛtāḥ /
tato bāla-dhvaniṃ śrutvā gṛha-pālāḥ samutthitāḥ //
1. Sri Suka said:—All the entrances on the outer as well as in the inner apartments got closed as before; then hearing the cries of the infant, did the gaurds of the palace awake.
