nanda-vrajaṃ gate rāme karūṣādhipatir nṛpa /
vāsudevo 'ham ity ajño dūtaṃ kṛṣṇāya prāhiṇot //

1. Sri Suka said:— When Rama had gone to Nanda's Vraja, the ruler of Karusha, steeped in ignorance, sent a messenger to Krishna with the message "I am Vasudeva".
