kevalena hi bhāvena gopyo gāvo nagā mṛgāḥ /
ye 'nye mūḍha-dhiyo nāgāḥ siddhā mām īyur añjasā //
8. Only by virtue of their devotion gopis, cows, trees, beasts, Nagas (serpents) and many others of dull-witted nature became accomplished and attained to Me without the least difficulty—
