tad-ante pralayas tāvān brāhmī rātrir udāhṛtā /
trayo lokā ime tatra kalpante pralayāya hi //
3. At the end of Kalpa an equally long period follows as the time of Pralaya or dissolution and it is called the night of Brahma; for during that night these three worlds are liable to dissolution.
