dve jānunī sutalaṃ viśvamūrter ūrudvayaṃ vitalaṃ cātalaṃ ca /
mahītalaṃ tajjaghanaṃ mahīpate nabhastalaṃ nābhisaro gṛṇanti //
27. Sutala forms the two knees of the Lord, whose image is the Universe; Vitala and Atala are His two thighs; the Mahatala is His hip, O King, and the sky is His deep navel—so sing the wise (contemplate and teach their pupils).
