sā hatā tena gadayā vihatā bhagavat-karāt /
vighūrṇitāpatad reje tad adbhutam ivābhavat //

3. That Gada, struck by that of the enemy, flew out of the Lord's hand and looked splendid as it fell down whirling; and it was a wonderful sight.
